The DHOAD Gypsies of Rajasthan transport us back to these magnificent times, re-creating the grandeur and public spectacles once seen in royal courts.

Each performance is a celebration of timeless melodies, passed down through generations to Rahis Bharti, whose ancestors were esteemed court musicians, performing in the presence of Maharajas during grand celebrations such as royal births, weddings, religious ceremonies, and festive gatherings.
• “Sona Ra Button Banna” – Celebrates the birth of a prince
• “Dhanra Saheba Ji” – Marks the arrival of a grand wedding procession
• “Janwariyo (Romantic Peacock)” – Announces the monsoon season, a symbol of prosperity and love

This performance pays homage to the Romani people, whose journey began in Rajasthan over a thousand years ago and whose music continues to echo across continents.
